Terms of use

What Ayami is
Ayami makes a short, friendly phone call to your parent in India at times you choose, and sends you a summary and alerts. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
What Ayami is not
Ayami is an AI. It is not a doctor, does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and is not an emergency service. It may miss something, mishear something or not reach your parent. In an emergency, call 112 in India first. Do not rely on Ayami as the only way you look after your parent.
Your parent's consent
You must only add a parent who has agreed to receive the calls. The first call is an intro call with you on the line, and calls start only after your parent says yes. If they ask us to stop, we will, and we will not call that number again unless they say yes again. You must not use Ayami to contact anyone against their wishes, or to monitor, pressure or deceive anyone.
Your account
You must be an adult. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate information, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. The person who creates the account is its owner. They can add family members, change the plan and delete the account.
Plans and payment
The price is shown in the app before you pay. A free trial, if offered, ends on the date shown and you are then charged unless you cancel. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. When you cancel, calls continue until the end of the period you already paid for. If a payment fails, calls pause until it is fixed. Payments are handled by our payment provider.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no harassment, no unlawful use, no attempts to break or overload it, and no sharing of alert links with people who should not see them.
Your data
You decide how long recordings and summaries are kept, and you can export or delete them in the app. The privacy policy explains the details.
Changes and ending
We may update the service or these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. You can stop using Ayami and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Limits of our responsibility
We work hard to keep Ayami running, but we provide it as is and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for harm that follows from a missed or wrong call, message or alert.
